The company was established in the name of M/S Ambalal Chaturbhai Chokshi by the Founder, the late Mr. Ambalal Chaturbhai Chokshi, in Vadodara.
Mr. Narendra A Chokshi, eldest son of Ambalal Chokshi, joined the business with the goal of expanding the business.
Mr. Narendra Chokshi introduced Jadau and Diamond jewellery to the existing Gold jewellery repertoire.
Mr. Narendra Chokshi restructured the company and expanded it as "Narayan Jewellers".
Mr. Ketan Chokshi, a graduate from the Gemmological Institute of America and the elder son of Mr. Narendra Chokshi, joined Narayan Jewellers in 1997. After two years of work, he went on to study at the Gemmological Institute of America. He returned to the business with his gemmological degree in 2000.
Mr. Narendra Chokshi was chosen as a part of the four-member panel from Gujarat courtesy his immense knowledge of jewellery, to consult the Government of India on the rules and regulations for the BIS Hallmark ACT in India.
Mr. Narendra Chokshi was elected as the President of the Vadodara Jewellery Association.
Mr. Jatin Chokshi, a diamond graduate and a management expert, and the younger son of Mr. Narendra Chokshi, joined Narayan Jewellers.
Mr. Narendra Chokshi introduced the concept of BIS Hallmark in Vadodara, making Narayan Jewellers the first jewellery brand to get the BIS Hallmarking License in Vadodara.
Two Narayan jewellery pieces were selected pan-India and auctioned by Sotheby’s for the social cause of saving elephants worldwide, organized under the aegis of World Land Trust and Gemfields.
Launch of the 3500 sq ft lavish Narayan Jewellers store in the heart of Vadodara.
